Trois principaux termes permettent de caractériser une start-up:
- Entreprise innovante;
- A fort potentiel de développement;
- Besoin énorme en investissements pour financer sa croissance rapide
Une Start-up est donc une jeune entreprise innovante ou qui ne s'est pas encore lancé sur le marché commercial. Elle exerce généralement dans le secteur de la technologie. Elle a un pouvoir de croissance énorme et fait l'objet de levée de fonds importants.
